ADDING A PHOTO TO YOUR PROFILE
We are implementing a new identification procedure to enhance security in our facilities. From now on, a photo will be added to your profile when you check in at the reception. This step, which only takes a few minutes, helps confirm that the person presenting themselves matches the account used for the reservation.
A comprehensive FAQ is available to answer all your questions regarding photo taking, its use, the confidentiality of your data, and the steps to follow.
Feel free to consult it for more information.
CHANGES TO PRIVATE LESSONS AT IGA STADIUM
In order to adopt the highest standards of Safe Sport and to further regulate the commercial practices taking place on the tennis courts of IGA Stadium, a new process regarding private tennis lessons will be implemented at IGA Stadium soon and will be overseen by Tennis MontrĂ©al.Â
As of December 1, 2025, users will have the opportunity to book a private lesson with a coach listed with Tennis MontrĂ©al, directly via the IGA Stadium reservation platform. This measure aims to assure the public that all coaching staff offering lessons on our facility’s courts are active certified members of the Tennis Professionals Association (TPA). Coaches who are not registered on the Tennis MontrĂ©al platform will therefore not be permitted to provide private lessons.Â
We remind you that any commercial activity taking place on our courts must be sanctioned—otherwise, it is considered prohibited.Â
This initiative is jointly supported by Tennis Canada, Tennis MontrĂ©al, and Tennis QuĂ©bec.Â

IGA Stadium Communication - Clay Courts
Update – Situation of the Clay Courts at IGA Stadium - October 27, 2025
We would like to keep you informed about the latest developments regarding the clay courts at IGA Stadium, which were preventively closed last August following a ban issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) on the HAR-TRU gray/green product.
These preventive measures were taken due to the potential presence of asbestos in the HAR-TRU clay material used on IGA Stadium’s clay courts.
In recent weeks, several analyses have been carried out by the relevant authorities across Quebec. According to the latest information received from the Regional Public Health Directorate, the presence of asbestos has been confirmed in some bags of the HAR-TRU gray/green product.
However, a complete risk assessment remains necessary, as it is too early to draw general conclusions about the situation.
In the meantime, the distribution of HAR-TRU gray/green remains prohibited by ECCC. We have also received a recommendation from the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS) to implement interim measures aimed at reducing any potential exposure to asbestos.
MEASURES TAKEN AT IGA STADIUMÂ
Given this situation and the recommendations issued by the relevant authorities, the IGA Stadium team has decided to maintain the closure of the clay courts until further notice. The safety of all visitors and staff remains our top priority.
Although this decision results from circumstances beyond our control, we recognize that the loss of our clay courts will impact access to indoor courts and force us to concentrate all programming and commitments on hard courts, including the hosting of a professional ITF M25 tournament scheduled for early November.
Over the coming months, IGA Stadium will do its utmost to minimize negative impacts on users and partners. The following measures will soon be implemented:
Next Steps
While awaiting further information from the authorities, we wish to inform users that IGA Stadium is actively exploring all possible options to reopen the clay courts as soon as possible.
In the meantime, we understand that this situation may raise questions. Please do not hesitate to contact us at  servicealaclientele@tenniscanada.com  for any inquiries.
We also invite you to regularly check the “News” section of our website to stay up to date on this matter.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience. Please rest assured that we are doing everything possible to restore full access to our facilities as soon as possible.
