SCHOOL AGE & TEEN CLASSES

Our Fundamentals curriculum for children and youth embraces a comprehensive approach to movement education. Our goal is to provide an enriching sport journey that extends beyond physical abilities.

We encourage participants to challenge themselves while embracing constructive feedback in a supportive learning environment. Mistakes are viewed as necessary and valuable opportunities for growth that enable us to learn, develop skills, and progress.

To instill values like sportsmanship, teamwork, and resilience, our classes incorporate a blend of cooperative and competitive games tailored to the age group, dynamics, and skill level of each class. These activities also encourage peer support and collaboration. And most importantly - they're incredibly fun!

Naturally, gymnastics offers exceptional physical benefits that make it the foundation for all sports and activities. These include enhanced agility, balance, coordination, spatial orientation, strength, power, mobility, flexibility, postural control as well as improved cardiovascular health.

Annual Membership

  • An annual Gymnastics BC ($44) and Sunshine Coast Gymnastics ($21) membership fee is required and will be charged at the time of registration. Membership includes sport accident insurance.
  • All membership fees are valid from September 1 to August 31 each season.
  • If you have a current GymBC membership with another club, our system will still charge you for one. Please email info@suncoastgym.ca with the name of your club and you will receive a refund for the GymBC portion of your membership fees upon the club's confirmation.
