Certificates can serve a more strategic purpose beyond acknowledging participants’ accomplishments. 

By sending bulk certificates with your logo, you improve your client’s experience – but it’s also an effective marketing tool. Kids love to show off their achievements, so chances are that proud parents will hang certificates up around their homes.

They’ll stay as visible reminders to sign up for next session and spark conversations with friends and families about how amazing little Sophia’s swim class was.

With Activity Messenger you can:

• Produce certificates at scale
• Automatically add names from a list of recipients
• Send via Email/SMS without leaving the platform
• Include feedback from instructors
• Add placeholders such as class level, date, session, etc
• Print certificates in bulk

1- Creating a certificate

Click on the More menu, and choose "+ New certificate". Give your certificate a new and choose your paper size and orientation.

A certificate consists of a background image and text labels. You can either upload your own background image or use Canva to select from a multitude of sample certificates or to create your own. Make sure the background images contains empty spaces to insert text.

Add a text new text field and choose a placeholder. For example {Participant first name}. When the certificates get generated, Activity Messenger will pull the placeholder values from the list your provide.

2- Auto-generate certificates for each participant

With your certificate designed, it is time to apply it to a list of people to auto-generate personalized cetificates for each participant. Either to a list you uploaded or to a list of respondents captured with a form.

Click on Apply and choose your list or form. You will be able to cycle through people on the left. On the right, you will see a preview of the certificate generated for each. You can click on Print to get a full size version of the certificate. You will be able to print it.

3- Sending by email or by SMS

You can send the certificates by email or by text message. Click on Send to edit your message. The certificate will be attached and embedded in the email. If you are sending by SMS, Activity Messenger will send a link to access the certificate. In both cases, the recipient will be able to print the certificate.

4- Include feedback from the instructor

You can even take a notch further and include an evaluation form filled by the instructor. Activity Messenger provides instructors with an efficient way to send out personalized comments & feedback to each student. The evaluation form automatically goes out with the certificate.
