Story: Paco the parrot is hungry (hula hoop), and we will throw a mango (football) in his mouth to feed him.

2-3YO: Children will get the football and parents the hula hoop from the coaches. Parents will space themselves out in the playing area with their child. Parents will hold the hula hoop and child will push the football in Paco’s mouth. Remind parents to start close and then slowly back away. If it is too easy, parents can move back or bring hula hoop higher.

4-6YO: Set up a medium cone (for children to line up behind with their football), an orange cone for the child whose turn it will be to do their throw in and three hoops and bean bags near the cones. The coach will hold the hula hoop for the child to throw the ball in. Once the child has their turn, they will get their ball and jump in the hula hoops, tiptoe on the bean bags, and go behind their line. Make two groups, two set ups and one group per coach. 4-6YO: Coaches set up two rectangular endzones with cones (one at each end of the playing space). Children get the footballs from the coaches.
