Skill 1 : The Drive

Story: A big snowball (bouncy ball) fell on Timothy’s house (dome cone), and we need to shovel (golf stick) the snow off his house.

2-3YO: REMIND PARENTS OF SAFETY. ***Parents get the golf stick, children get the ball, and dome cone from the coaches. Parents find an empty space where they cannot hit another child and practice the drive.

4-6YO: Coaches place dome cones in a straight line very well distanced apart and have children swing the golf stick on your signal facing the same direction. Once they hit the ball, they wait for the coach to say go, have children PUT THE STICK DOWN NEXT TO THEIR CONE and then go get their ball and place it back on their cone to do again on the coach’s signal.

Skill 2 : Putting

Keywords (repeat & clap): Putting, two hands, bend knees, look, little tap

Story: Frankie the frog and his friends (popcorn balls) jumped out his swamp (hula hoop) and we need to help him, and his friends get back to their swamp.

2-3YO: Coaches place hula hoops all over playing area and popcorn everywhere. Parents get the golf stick and guides their child to a popcorn to putt in a hula hoop. When hula hoops are crowded with popcorn say, “frogs on the loose” and kick the balls out to restart.

4-6YO: Coaches place hula hoops all over playing area and popcorn everywhere. Children get the golf stick and start putting. When hula hoops are crowded with popcorn say, “frogs on the loose” and kick the balls out to restart.

Skill 3 : Mini-Putt

Story: Rita the rabbit has to cross all the forest's obstacles in order to get back to her rabbit hole

2-3YO: Coaches make the golf course using the material they have. Parents get the golf stick and popcorn. Make two mini putt games (try other material than the golf sticks to make the course).
