You can now give the entire warm up!  The warm up is essential for a Sportball Coach, make sure you master it!

Make sure that you give the entire warm up next class!  Tell the other coach that you want to give the warm up.

Come well prepared, which means that you know before the class what you will say in the introduction, your Sportball says, which 3 run and freeze skills you will be doing with the group, which jumps you will do with the 4 to 6 group, how you want to set up the train and the race, know the popcorn activity.  Make sure you talk loud and that you are entertaining with sound effects and stories!   Lastly, have fun!

No quiz today, prepare your warm up as much as possible!  The better the warm-up, the longer the drills will last afterwards.

Promoting sports in a fun environment so kids can associate physical activity with something positive is our goal as a coach, so getting the group jumping, running, doing push ups for 15 minutes straight is what we want to achieve.

Afterwards, they will be more relaxed to listen to the instructions for the upcoming skills as their energy will have a drop from a good warm-up.

To make sure we hire the right people to work with young kids and to give the best feedback possible as to improve the new coaches, we evaluate the coaches for their first six shifts as to be sure that they can be the best coach possible at the end of the training.
