Create a class or event

A course or event refers to any activity that takes place either as a one-time occurrence, recurring, over a session, or throughout the year. It is the foundation of your system. Subsequently, your forms will incorporate these courses, allowing participants to register and be added to the attendance list for these courses/events.

To begin, click on Courses in the menu at the top of the page.

Navigate to All Courses and Events.

Locate the + button at the top right of the page.

Click on Add.

A new window will open where you can fill in all the details related to this course or event.

Information

  • Enter the course name, displayed price, and a price per participant.
  • You can limit the maximum number of participants and enable a waitlist if necessary.
  • Add taxes and accounting codes if required.
  • Create labels to make it easier for you to find your courses and help your clients during registration.
  • Add age restrictions that will apply during registrations.
  • Track the check-ins and check-outs of participants.

Location

Add an address, a description, an image and display the map.

Schedule

  • Set up the dates and times for your courses and events.
  • Create recurring schedules for your weekly courses.
  • You can modify the times for all courses with a single click by pressing Edit All Times and Durations.
  • You can also add a theme for each course, which can be displayed on the invoice.

Registration period 

  • Set registration opening and closing dates.

Membership

  • When a membership is created, it is possible here to determine if the membership is required to access the course and if membership members have reduced rates.

Zoom

  • Link your classes with Zoom for webinars or online classes.

Reminders

  • Send reminders to registered participants before classes via email or SMS. 
  • Send a specific message to participants after classes. 
  • Choose the date and time to automatically send reminders.

Permission

  • Add staff members who will have access to attendance lists.

Microsite

  • You can choose to display the course or event on your microsite.

Save 

  • Tap Create to save your changes. It is possible to return to the course later to make changes.
