Newsletters

Activity Messenger allows you to create and manage your newsletters. A newsletter can announce the opening of registrations for the upcoming season, weekly news, or any other announcement.

Activity Messenger newsletters are web pages that you can send via email and SMS. They are responsive and designed for smartphones. You can publish them as web pages and include them on your website.

# Drafting the Newsletter

Create a Template

The first step is to create an email template.

Go to the Communication tab. From there, you can view all existing templates or create a new one.

Click on "Create" to open a selection of template options.

Select the newsletter template and click "Create." You can also start from scratch, but it's often helpful to begin with a foundation.

Configuring Email Details

Once you're in your newsletter template, edit the text at the top. This is the internal name and subject of your newsletter email. The subject appears in your marketing email, allowing recipients to unsubscribe if needed.

You can also choose the display name and the sending email address. If you have multiple addresses in your account, select the one you want to use for sending.

Adding Images

To add images, click on "Edit." You can upload images from your account by clicking on "Import." You’ll see all the images already in your account.

If you prefer to create new images, use Canva. Select the image size, then add photos or other elements. Save your work to import directly into your template.

Adding Text

To add text, use the text editor. You can also insert merge fields to personalize the email with data from your lists or forms, such as the recipient's first name or other specific information.

The editor offers many options: create text, insert links, add headers, and more. Use the AI assistant to enhance your text, provide variations, or translate.

Add Action Buttons

It is often essential to include buttons to encourage action, whether to prompt visitors to sign up, visit a website, or book a ticket. To do this, select the desired type of action and insert the appropriate form or link. You can also customize the text displayed on the button.

Add Additional Blocks

Add more blocks using drag and drop. This includes sections for images, text, buttons, columns, videos, etc.

Test and Finalize Your Email

Test the merge fields and check the preview to ensure that the personalized information displays correctly. You can also send test emails to verify the final rendering.

Duplicate your newsletters so you don't have to recreate everything each month. Publish them on your social media to increase their visibility.
