Email/SMS automation following a form response

Setting up automation for form responses is an excellent way to optimize communication with your users. It helps you stay connected with them, provide relevant information, and increase the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns.

This method, often called a "drip campaign," allows you to send automated messages at regular intervals after a form submission, such as a free trial request.

# Creating the automation

Go to the Communication menu, navigate to the automation section, and click on Create.

Select Form Answer, name the automation and click Create

Click on the button to configure the response to "Yes" to actviate the robot.

Select the relevant form (for example, a swimming course evaluation).

Define the reference date for the automation: either the response date or a date chosen by the user.

Determine when to send the first message. For example, you can choose to send an email or SMS immediately after the response or two days later at 2:00 PM.

Create a message template that will be sent at the chosen interval. Add relevant content for the context.

Repeat the process to set up additional messages at different intervals (for example, another message seven days after the initial response).

# Finalize the automation

Review the settings and messages to ensure they meet your needs.

Activate the automation so that it begins sending messages to users who fill out the form.

# Advantages

This automation allows you to:

  • Maintain regular contact with your users after they fill out a form.
  • Provide additional information and follow-ups without manual effort.
  • Improve user engagement with well-planned and timely messages.
