A subscriber list allows you to enter the email addresses and mobile phone numbers of people who want to receive your communications (for example, newsletters). You can create multiple lists and audiences.
Data entry is done via a web page and a form. This page and its form are customized to reflect your brand image. You can choose the logo, a photo, design a message, and select the color of the button.
A subscriber list functions like other lists. You can send an email or SMS message to the people on this list. You can also combine it with other lists using a combined list.
To get started, click on Forms and then select Create from the dropdown menu.
Choose the Newsletter Subscription option to begin creating the form.
The form you create is fully customizable. You can edit the text, upload an image or create one, and adjust the image size as needed.
You can add fields of your choice to collect additional information from subscribers. These fields can be optional or required.
To better understand your subscribers' interests and tailor your marketing emails accordingly, consider adding additional questions to your forms. This will allow you to refine your recipient list and better target your marketing campaigns by filtering the responses collected. For example, you can use filters to send specific emails only to respondents who expressed interest in children's programming.
Configure the confirmation page that appears after subscription. You can choose to redirect subscribers to your website or a specific document.
When a subscriber signs up for your newsletter, customize the confirmation email with links to your blog posts, photos, videos, or other relevant information. This helps engage subscribers and provides them with valuable content right from the start.
In addition to the confirmation page, explore other options such as sharing the form on social media or integrating it into your website.
Enable a general message that appears after subscription to promote other events or promotions and encourage subscribers to stay informed. This helps keep your audience engaged and aware of upcoming opportunities!
Activity Messenger automatically creates a template and associates it with your new list. New subscribers will receive a message via SMS or email designed with this template. You can customize the template to suit your needs, ensuring that it aligns with your brand and the specific message you want to convey.
These SMS/emails are ideal for sending a video or a PDF. Check the Help page on Message Templates (email/SMS in HTML format) to learn how to add calls to action. This will help you engage your subscribers effectively and encourage them to take the next steps.
The custom field allows you to capture the context of a form and segment the list of respondents. For example, this field could be a list of interests for newsletter subscriptions or a list of courses for pre-registration.
The custom field can be a dropdown menu, a checklist, radio buttons, or a free text field. It is always displayed at the beginning of the form.
When drafting a new message, you'll be able to filter the list of respondents based on the value of the custom field. For example, among 234 respondents, you can target the 143 who expressed interest in children's programming.
The Subscribers tab lists the individuals on your list. You can search by name, mobile phone number, or email address. Click the + button to add a subscriber to the list.
Click on Share Form. A window will appear with four sharing options. You can copy the shareable URL to create a link on your website. You can send the form via email or SMS. You can also embed the form on your website. Additionally, you can print the QR code and display it at the entrance of the course to allow participants to fill it out in person.
There are two ways to integrate the form into your website: by placing it on a page using an IFRAME, or by adding a button to your website. When users click the button, a window will open with the form. Copy the HTML code to complete the integration.
If you were using Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or another platform, you likely already have a contact list. You can import it into Activity Messenger. From your old platform, export the list to an Excel or CSV file.
In Activity Messenger, click on Import. A window will allow you to choose your file. You can also drag it into the designated area.
Activity Messenger will detect the columns for name, email address, and mobile phone number. You can also select the appropriate columns. If you exported a column for the custom field, you can choose it as well. Activity Messenger will import everything.
After the import, the contacts will appear in the subscriber list. If you import more than a thousand contacts, Activity Messenger will process them in the background, which may take a few seconds. Refresh the list to update it.
