Surveys and analytics

Activity Messenger is a full replacement for SurveyMonkey built specifically for Sports & Leisure.

A survey is a form used to collect satisfaction and feedback following a class or session. Activity Messenger gives you all the tools necessary to run a survey. To collect responses, you can embed them on your website or send them by email or by text message. Checkout the Forms help page to learn more.

Activity Messenger can even automatically send the survey after a class or session. Checkout the Automation help page to learn more.

# Creating the Survey

To get started click on Forms and Create

You can start with the End of session survey sample, or start from scratch with a Form. A survey can contain different types of questions. For example this sample uses rating, checkboxes, radio buttons and input questions.

Integrate images of your choice, and ask various types of questions such as general ratings using stars or radio button grids.

You can choose to make your survey anonymous by selecting the "Make Anonymous" option when you're in the respondent question section. In this case, the respondent information block will be hidden, and no contact information will be requested.

# Anonymous surveys

You can choose to make your survey anonymous by selecting the Make anonymous option when you are in the account owner's question section. In this case, the respondent's question block will be hidden, and no contact information will be requested.

You have the option to add different types of additional questions, such as rankings or open-ended questions requiring text responses.

If your survey is very long, consider using page breaks to divide sections and avoid having a page that's too long to scroll through.

Use conditional branching to customize questions based on respondents' choices. For example, if you offer multiple courses, respondents will select their course, and only the questions relevant to their choice will be asked.

Share your survey via a unique link, embed it on your website or in your newsletter, and invite respondents to complete the survey.

# Analyzing Responses

Once responses start coming in, you can view them in the Respondents section.

You can filter the responses by questions and choose the columns you prefer to display.

# Analytics

Once you have collected answers, click on the Analytics tab to visualize responses. Activity Messenger chooses the appropriate chart according to the type of question asked. You can change the type of chart. Choose from vertical or horizontal bar charts, or pie charts.

You can download results to Excel for further analysis. You can even print the analytics on paper.

Choose how you prefer to display your responses for better analysis. This could include options like charts, graphs, or tables, depending on what helps you understand the data most effectively.
