Founded by youth activity experts

Founded in 2019, Activity Messenger is created by experts in the sports and leisure community. Co-founder Olivier Rousseau ran a sports program with 3 locations, serving 4,000 families for 13 years. Co-founder Martin Drapeau grew Amilia from 15 to 110 employees as the CTO. And, Co-founder Michael Shpigelman, an accomplished athlete and developer, joined Activity Messenger after co-founding MAKEACHAMP to support funding for elite athletes around the world.

Born out of a desire for a better registration and class management experience

Our team has lived the struggles and success of running, supporting and growing youth sports and leisure clubs and camps for decades. That’s why we approach every decision we make with an operator’s mindset. We build with real knowledge of what clubs and camps actually need and we work closely with our clients to make sure they succeed.

The problems we’re solving for sports and leisure organizations

Legacy class and camp management software was built for desktop, and it was pioneered with assumptions and experiences from a different time. A time where fax machines and flip phones were a part of daily life. We used (and struggled with) these software. We heard from frustrated peers. And finally, we struck out to build something better. Mobile-first registration software with built-in communications and management tools that were designed to grow modern sports and leisure businesses.

Yes. Activity Messenger is PCI DSS compliant, using Stripe for payment processing. Credit card information never touches our servers. Any sensitive personal information is encrypted at rest and communication between your browser and our servers are always encrypted through TLS (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed and not accessible to anyone. If you lose your password, using the reset password mechanism is the only way to access your account.
