Import your camps from Excel

Summer camps are coming fast! That’s why in preparation for the new Attendance tracking module (see below), we have improved our import engine.

First though, we’d like to welcome our many new customers using iClassPro, Uplifter, Jackrabbit and Qidigo!

Also, we’re happy to announce that Activity Messenger automatically detects iClassPro Student List reports.

Until we get fully integrated with other platforms, you can import rosters and participants with Upload lists. We’ve added new capabilities to make it easier:

• Import using Excel or CSV
• Automatic column detection or manually pick your columns
• Import activity information
• Keep family members with the same email address as distinct rows OR combine them into a the same row
• Import class schedule

You can then send emails and text messages to participants of the lists your imported.

Supported columns

Activity Messenger allows you to import these fields:

• Name
• Email
• Mobile
• Other parent name
• Other parent email
• Other parent mobile
• Child name
• Child gender
• Child date of birth

You can also import activity or class information:

• Activity name
• Activity start date
• Activity start time
• Occurrence dates (i.e. week 1, week 2, etc)

Finally, you can import a Custom column value. Use this to provide extra segmentation (i.e. camp group name).

Messaging and filtering participants

Once imported, you get a mini-database of participants. You can easily filter by:

• Activity name
• Activity start date
• Custom column

You can use these filters when sending messages. Its now easier than ever to bulk-email or bulk-text your classes.

Attendance tracking module coming soon

We are currently BETA testing a new feature for camps: Attendance tracking. Tailored for camp counselors and coaches, this will allow them to:

• Import class rosters
• Track attendance (check-in date/time and check-out date/time)
• Verify that they have completed a waiver/form prior to class

Activity Messenger Attendance combines waivers/forms with class rosters to give you a complete COVID-19 contact tracing feature. You will be able to report to Excel for further processing.
