We’ve added a new automation called “Class reminders”. Let Activity Messenger’s Automation Bot send an email or text message to participants before, or after, each class.
Class reminders are perfect to send COVID-19 waivers the morning of a class to allow participants to fill it in before showing up.
Class reminders work on any type of list. It is an improved version of the Amilia Activity reminder automation you may have used before. It works on predefined lists.
Click on List and Create.
If you’re using Amilia, select Amilia programs. You can import participants from multiple programs and multiple activities. Activity Messenger will pull the schedule of occurrences automatically.
If you’re using another system, choose Upload an Excel/CSV file. Checkout the docs for instructions on how to specify class dates (occurrences).
If you want, you can combine multiple lists using a Master list. The Class reminder automation will work on that too.
Click on Automation and Create. Choose Class Reminder. Pick your list and configure your message. You can even modify the template to reuse it with other class reminder automated tasks.
Use the simulator to run a test. Choose a class date and it will show you who will receive the message.
