What’s New in Activity Messenger | October 2026

Discover how Activity Messenger’s latest updates can save your team time, simplify payment follow-ups, and make your emails stand out.

As programs grow and registrations pick up, the little things can make a big difference: keeping client information organized, staying on top of payments, and creating communications that look great without taking extra time.

Here’s a look at the latest Activity Messenger updates 👇

Client profiles that are easier to manage

Keeping client information organized starts with collecting the right details. But when every form requires the same fields to be configured again, a simple task can quickly become repetitive.

You can now customize profile fields for account owners, participants, and contacts directly in your organization settings. Once configured, these fields can be reused across your forms instead of being set up from scratch each time. That means less repetitive setup for your team and a simpler way to collect the information you need.

A simpler way to manage outstanding balances

When a client has several unpaid invoices, tracking each one separately can make payment follow-ups more complicated than they need to be.

With account statements, you can combine multiple outstanding invoices into a single document, allowing clients to settle their balance in one transaction. Your team gets a clearer picture of what's owed, while clients have a more straightforward way to take care of their payments.

There's also a new way to reduce missed payments when clients choose Interac e-Transfer. You can require a credit card on file as a backup. If the transfer hasn't arrived by the deadline and automatic cancellation is enabled, the card is charged automatically.

Together, these updates help your team spend less time tracking down payments and more time keeping things moving.

More ways to create engaging emails

Your emails are an important part of the participant experience, whether you're announcing a new program, sharing important updates, or promoting upcoming activities. Now, you have more ways to make those communications stand out.

Activity Messenger introduces three new email layout blocks:

  • Image with overlay: Add text directly over an image for a more visual message;
  • Mini image gallery: Showcase several images in a compact layout;
  • Image and text gallery: Combine visuals and text to create richer, more engaging emails.

💡 The email editor has also been updated to make it more intuitive and enjoyable for your whole team to create communications.

Other updates to make your work easier

Beyond the main updates, Activity Messenger has introduced several other improvements to help teams stay organized, collaborate more easily, and reduce repetitive work:

  • A new Payments Needing Attention report to quickly spot pending, failed, overdue, or mismatched payments;
  • Collaborate more easily on communications by saving messages as drafts so teammates can pick up where someone else left off;
  • Bring form results to your website by sharing them as tables or dynamic charts;
  • Make membership management easier with a cancellation form that members can access directly from their account;
  • Simplify class enrollment and bulk invoicing in one workflow, with scheduled payments, flexible participant exclusions, and the option to review and adjust invoices before creating them.

Each of these updates helps remove a little friction from the tasks your team handles every day.

A platform that keeps getting easier to work with

From organizing client information to managing payments and creating better communications, this month's updates share a common goal: helping your team spend less time on repetitive tasks and making everyday operations easier to manage.

Some changes give you more flexibility. Others help you stay on top of details or work more efficiently with your team. Together, they make Activity Messenger a more practical tool for the day-to-day needs of sports clubs, studios, camps, and recreation organizations.
