Manage messages you receive

Activity Messenger sends messages on behalf of organizations such as your club, school or camp. This guide is for participants, members and parents who want to manage those messages.

Find a missing email

Check spam or junk and mark a legitimate message as Not spam. Confirm that the organization has the right email address. If messages still do not arrive, ask your mail administrator to check blocked senders and the sender's domain. Adding a sender to an allowlist can help but does not guarantee delivery.

Contact the organization about its registration, class or invoice. Activity Messenger provides the messaging platform; the organization manages the content and your participation.

Open Manage notifications in an email footer or the linked message page. Review the organization shown before saving your choices. When the organization offers communication preferences, choose the available channels and categories that suit you.

Preferences and marketing subscriptions are specific to the organization. Changing one club's preferences does not necessarily change another club's settings. The options shown depend on that organization's configuration.

Understand marketing and service messages

A marketing unsubscribe controls promotional communications. It does not necessarily stop service-related messages about a transaction or activity, such as an invoice or cancellation. If you no longer want to participate or believe a message was sent incorrectly, contact the organization. Receiving a message is not proof that consent was correctly recorded.

Stop SMS from a sending number

Reply STOP to the number that sent the text to block SMS from that number. Follow the confirmation instructions; START can be used to request resubscription where supported.

This number-level block can also affect other organizations using the same sending number and can block operational texts. Organizations may use different dedicated or shared numbers. For finer control, use the notification page when available. Do not assume changing an email preference removes a carrier-level SMS block.
