Create and manage recipient lists
Create a reusable recipient list when you need to reach the same kind of audience again. A list selects people; a form collects responses. Choose the source that already contains the information you need.
Create a list
- Open Lists and select Create.
- Choose a source: an Excel/CSV upload, class registrations, an integration, subscriber signups or a master list combining other lists.
- Give it a name that identifies the audience, program and season.
- Configure the source and any inclusion or exclusion filters.
- Open the resulting list and review actual recipients and contact details before using it.
A saved configuration is not a guarantee that every intended person has usable contact information. Check participant and account-owner fields when messaging families.
Find and organize lists
Use the list-name search to find a saved audience. Recipient search helps locate a person by name, email or mobile number. Use filters and tags to narrow the lists displayed. Tags describe and organize records; they do not collect consent or override an unsubscribe.
For data-driven lists, refresh the source when appropriate and inspect the result before sending. Do not assume a CSV upload remains synchronized with the spreadsheet on your computer. For scheduled messages, review the separate list-refresh option in the sending workflow.
Combine or merge
A master list combines sources and can exclude another audience. It is useful when those source lists must remain independently maintainable. A list merge is a separate operation: inspect the selected lists and the confirmation before using it. Merging lists is not the same as merging client accounts.
Staff access and maintenance
Use the staff permissions control when access needs to be limited to selected staff. Review permissions with the intended staff role; a list is not made public by assigning staff access. Use the row actions for maintenance and inspect their confirmation before changing or archiving a list.
