Connect the tools your organization uses
Use a connected app when you want Activity Messenger to work with an existing service. Start with the integration that supports your immediate workflow; you do not need to connect every app.
Choose an integration
| Your goal | Integration and next guide |
|---|---|
| Run online classes and distribute meeting links | Zoom classes |
| Use your Amilia registrations and activity information | Connect Amilia, then build Amilia lists |
| Reuse designs in forms and messages | Publish Canva designs to your media library |
For other systems, review the SportPlus, Uplifter, webhook or API guides. Their setup and data flows differ from the connected-app controls.
Open connected apps
Open the settings beside your organization name, then the connected-app section. You need the appropriate organization access and access to the external account. Confirm the selected organization before authorizing a connection.
Zoom
Connect the Zoom account you will use for classes. Configure the account and meeting options in the Zoom workflow, then verify the meeting link on an actual scheduled occurrence before sharing it. Where you use multiple Zoom accounts, select the appropriate account for the class.
The daily Zoom digest can notify selected staff of the day's Zoom classes. Meeting setup and reminder messages are separate steps; a connection alone does not send the link to participants.
Amilia
Follow the Amilia connection guide to authorize access and enter your Amilia organization identifier. Then choose the activities or memberships you need. Use the dedicated registration, purchase or reminder automation guides for the relevant trigger.
Canva
The Canva workflow starts from a design in Canva: choose Activity Messenger as the publishing destination and follow the authorization steps. There is no separate manual Connect button in Activity Messenger for this workflow. Published PNG/JPG designs become available in your images for reuse in templates and forms.
Maintain the connection
Before disconnecting an app or changing the external account, identify the forms, activities and automations that depend on it. Review the affected workflow afterward. If authorization fails, confirm that you are using the intended external account and follow the service's displayed instructions.
