Activity Messenger Help Center
Sync your classes to a personal calendar
Subscribe once to a private calendar of your confirmed classes and events. From My Account, open Activities, then Classes/events/league, and select Sync my calendar. New confirmed registrations, and changes to descriptions, dates, times, locations and cancellations, appear when your calendar provider refreshes the feed.
Your organization can send you this page. Client account explains how to open My Account.
Open Sync my calendar
- Sign in to My Account.
- Open Activities, then Classes/events/league.
- Select Sync my calendar. The button is beside the Activity and Participants filters.

The dialog title is Sync my calendar.
Create your private link
The dialog explains:
Subscribe once to a private calendar of your confirmed classes and events. Future registrations and changes to descriptions, dates, times and locations appear automatically when your calendar refreshes. No file download is needed.
It also shows these notes:
- Your calendar provider controls refresh times. Changes are not immediate; Outlook can take more than 24 hours. Continue to check your account and event notifications for last-minute changes.
- Includes occurrences from the past month through the next 12 months. Pending registrations and waitlists are excluded.
- Anyone with this link can access your account’s registration schedule, even when a participant is selected. Share it only with your calendar service. Selecting a participant changes which entries appear in the subscription.
Select Create my private calendar link to create the link. When you open the dialog again, it shows that same link until you revoke it.

If the dialog cannot load or update the subscription, it shows Unable to load or update your calendar subscription. Please try again.
Choose whose classes to include
After the link exists, the Participant list chooses who to include. The first choice is All participants accessible in my account. That choice includes the confirmed classes your account can already access. You can also choose one participant’s name.
Choose one participant for a calendar of that person’s classes. Private subscription link changes when you change the choice. A calendar you already subscribed keeps the link you gave it. Copy the new link and subscribe again to follow a different participant.
The participant choice changes which entries that link returns. Anyone who has the link can still open your account’s registration schedule, including when a participant is selected. Share the link only with your calendar service.
Add the calendar in Google, Outlook or Apple
The dialog has three tabs: Google, Outlook and Apple. On a Mac, iPhone or iPad, Apple is selected when the dialog opens. On other devices, Google is selected.
Copy Private subscription link. The button reads Copy to clipboard, and changes to Link copied after the copy. Then follow the steps for your calendar.

- On a computer, open Google Calendar.
- Beside Other calendars, choose +, then From URL.
- Paste the private link and add the calendar.
Outlook
- In Outlook on the web, open Calendar.
- Choose Add calendar, then Subscribe from web.
- Paste the private link, choose a name and import it as a subscription.
Apple
- Select Subscribe in Apple Calendar, then confirm in Calendar.
- On a Mac, you can also choose File > New Calendar Subscription and paste the private link.
- Choose an automatic refresh interval.
You add this feed in your own calendar app. Activity Messenger does not write these classes into Google Calendar or a Microsoft calendar, and it does not ask for permission to change those calendars.
What the calendar includes
Each entry is one class date:
- The class name.
- The description from the event, or the class description when the event has none.
- The start and end, in the organization’s time zone.
- The location name and address for that date, or the class location when the date has none. When the class has a Zoom meeting, the join link is included with the location.
The feed includes confirmed classes from the past month through the next 12 months, using the organization’s time zone. A later refresh adds new confirmed registrations. Changes to the description, date, time or location update the existing entry.
A cancelled class, date or registration stays in the feed and is marked cancelled, so the calendar can update the entry it already has. When another person included in the same subscription is still registered for that date, the shared entry stays active.
The feed leaves out:
- Pending registrations and waitlists.
- Team activities.
- Classes with add to calendar disabled.
- Attendance lists, private notes, and payment or invoice details.
How soon changes appear
Your calendar provider controls refresh times. Changes are not immediate. Outlook can take more than 24 hours. Keep checking your account and your event notifications for last-minute changes.
Keep the link private
Private subscription link is a private address for your account’s registration schedule. Share it only with your calendar service. Anyone with the link can access that schedule, even when a participant is selected.
If someone else has the link, select Revoke calendar link. Revoking stops every version of the link, including links for a single participant.
Stop the subscription
- Open Sync my calendar.
- Select Revoke calendar link.
- Confirm Revoke calendar link. Cancel leaves the link active.
The confirmation asks: Revoke this private calendar link? Existing subscriptions will stop receiving updates.
It also explains: Revoking stops access through every link for this calendar, including participant links. Remove the subscribed calendar in your calendar app to clear existing entries. Creating a new link requires subscribing again.

Classes already on your calendar stay there until you remove that subscribed calendar in the app. Select Create my private calendar link to make a new link, then subscribe again with the new link.
Common questions
Which classes are included? Confirmed classes and events your account can access, from the past month through the next 12 months. Pending registrations, waitlists, team activities, and classes with add to calendar disabled are left out.
Can I subscribe for one participant? Yes. After the link exists, choose that participant, copy Private subscription link, and subscribe. All participants accessible in my account includes every participant the account can access. Changing the participant changes the link. A calendar that is already subscribed keeps its original link.
How often does the calendar update? Your provider decides. Updates are not immediate. Outlook can take more than 24 hours. Check your account and event notifications for last-minute changes.
What if I send the link to someone else? They can view the account’s registration schedule while the link is active, including when a participant is selected. Select Revoke calendar link to stop future updates, then remove the subscribed calendar in each app that already added it.
Do I download a calendar file? No file download is needed. Subscribe once with the private link.
A class I just registered for is missing. What should I check? The registration needs to be confirmed, fall inside the date window, and match the participant you selected. The provider may still be waiting to refresh. Pending registrations and waitlists stay off the feed.
