Form questions: E-Commerce blocks

This article is part of the Form question reference. It covers the blocks of the Add a new block picker's E-Commerce tab. The reference index explains how blocks are added, the form types and the options shared by most questions.

E-Commerce

Shown on Payment forms only: “These questions will generate an invoice clients can pay online or offline.” The registration blocks (Class, Multiple classes, Event with tickets, Membership) are also offered to Generic and Staff forms under Classes/memberships (“Allow someone to register to a class, to an event or to obtain a membership without paying.”); there, price options still appear but nothing is charged.

Class

Registers the respondent, or other participants, to one class or event. Walkthrough: Selling classes and events. The editor starts with Choose a class or event (or create a new one) and the note “Classes and events can be managed by going to Class/events from the Classes menu. You may define multiple forms to register participants to the same class/event but with different rules.” Multiple classes Class rules use this same editor, plus Rule name and Apply on (a class, or classes or by tags).

General options:

Participant rules section. “By default, the person in the “Account owner” block is registered as the participant. Enable “Different participant” to register one or more people, such as children, colleagues, players, or guests.”

Price rules section:

Add-ons section:

Multiple classes

Lists several classes with filters so the client picks from them. Guide: Multiple classes with the use of filters. Each Class rule is a Class editor applied to all classes or to specific ones; “The last rule that matches will be applied. If no rule matches, the class will be not shown.” “You need to add rules to save this questions.” Add-on fees are configured in each rule.

Add filter — Types: Custom filter, Filter by tag, Filter by day of the week, Filter by age. Each option can list Show questions. Display as: Standard filter or Grouped activities; Selection type: Use block setting, Single selection, Multiple selections. Dynamically disable unavailable filter options, Show classes with min/max age.
Product add-ons Off Same fields as the Class block.

Event with tickets

Sells tickets to an event. Available with the same editor sections as Class, plus:

Mass registration

Shown only for organizations flagged as a federation club. Registers many people from a client tab or form at once, with Registration (class/event), Competition type, Register affiliation price, Affiliation price season, a Sports categories filter and Extra columns.

Resource

Shown on Payment forms when the organization has bookings. Lets the client reserve a resource (room, court, cottage) for a date range or by night. Main options: Name, Hidden, Description, Type of pricing (Number of days, Price per night with Minimum number of nights required, List of date range, Dynamic pricing), Tax, Ledger code, Booking type, Resources, Override prices, Regroup resources, Automatically select first available resource, Resource images, Limit the number of reservations, Accept promo codes, Check-in time, Check-out time, Stop displaying resources a number of days/minutes before check-in, Make unavailable for a few days after booking, Disable check-in and check-out on specific days, Generate access codes on bookings, Send an email to admins when booking end, Booking reminder templates before, before the end and after the event, and Also send an SMS to the client.

Booking

Shown on Payment forms when the organization has bookings and form bookings. Books a timed appointment on a resource.

Membership

Sells or assigns one membership. Guide: Membership. The editor starts with Choose a membership (or create a new one): “You may define multiple forms to sell/renew the same membership but with different rules.” Add one Membership question per standalone membership.

Gift card

Sells a gift card product: choose the gift card, Price, Minimum quantity, Maximum quantity, Ledger code, Pre-apply promo code, Hide label, Hidden, Notify admins when an item is bought, Attendance.

Donation

Collects a donation.

Tip

Shown for one organization only. Proposes three tip percentages (5, 10, 15 by default) with a default percentage, minimum, maximum and ledger code.

Fundraising

Creates a campaign: “This component will create the donation block as well as a description block for your campaign.” Options: Campaign title, Campaign description, Goal, Show donors (default Yes), Allow message, Taxes, Ledger code.

Invoice items

Fixed items with quantities. Guide: E-Commerce questions.

Variable invoice item

“Allow your client to purchase an item and to modify its description, quantity and price.” Options under Default values and constraints: Item (default item), Quantity 1 with Minimum 1 and Maximum blank, Price 10 with Minimum 0 and Maximum blank, Taxes, Ledger code, Who can edit the item, the quantity and the price? (Administrator, or Administrator and client), Hidden, Attendance.

Dynamic price

“Charge an invoice item using pricing rules based on form answers.” Options: Name, Price label, Hide quantity (“When hidden, the quantity is defaulted to 1”), Default quantity, Minimum quantity, Maximum quantity, Default price (10), Taxes, Ledger code, Pricing rules (Add rule: a Question, its Answers and a Price), Required, Hidden. “Price will be calculated on the invoice.”

Checkbox invoice items

Items the client ticks, each with optional add-ons.

Radio invoice items

Same as Checkbox invoice items with a single choice, plus Roster limit (“Set a limit for the number of players that can join this team.”), Roster size per item, Tags per item and Choose tag for teams (teams created from this question use the item's tags).

Auction item

Options: Minimum bid, Maximum bid, Fixed bidding increments (1), Taxes, Ledger code, Send nofication (default on: “Send notifications to the bidders whenever a higher bid is placed.”), Bid call to action (Bid), image.

Invoice contribution

“Allow someone to contribute against the balance due of an invoice.” Options: Which form and question(s) will allow us to identify the invoices? (form and question), New column name for the respondents table, Default amount, Default step (“Default 0.01”), Ledger code, Add limit to number of team members → Number of team members, Hidden.

Affiliation

Shown for sport federation organizations. Options: Season, Filters (Category, Discipline), Group by, Validation on date of birth (“Block submission of the form if the selected age category does not match the date of birth of the participant.”).

Multiple age categories

Shown when the organization has gym federation settings. Lists categories with a Title, Age constraint, Price and Product code(SKU); Process affiliations, Use season, Validation on date of birth, Include prices and product codes(SKU).
