Activity Messenger Help Center Waitlist FAQ These answers use the existing waitlist guides. Open the matching guide for the full steps and screenshots. Waitlist — turn the waitlist on, force it, and set the automation. Configure waitlists in class registration forms — where each setting lives on a class question or a multiple-classes rule. Manage requests in the Waitlist module — the central table and the class queue, including Trigger automations. Manually add someone to a class waitlist — add a person who is not on the form. Does the waitlist start by itself when the class is full? Only when Waitlist is on for that class question or class rule, and the class has a Maximum attendance. Customers register normally while places remain. When the class has no spots left, the form offers the waitlist button. Without Waitlist, a full class cannot be registered and no waitlist is offered. Force waitlist is different. It sends every respondent to the waitlist even when places remain, and it turns off ordinary registration for that selection. Offers to people already on the list are automatic only if Waitlist automation is also on. Otherwise you contact them yourself. A spot becomes available when a participant is removed, when someone joins while space is available, or when you click Trigger automations in the class's Waitlist column. The automation checks for free space before it sends. If you raise the class capacity, trigger the automations from that waitlist. See How registrations reach the waitlist. What does Trigger automations do? There is no Execute now control on the waitlist. Open Classes → Waitlist, then Manage waitlist queue on the class. The queue window is titled Waitlist. Waitlist Automation must be on in the form's class settings. The window says waitlist automations are triggered by participant removals, by someone adding themselves when a spot is free, and by Trigger automations when a spot is free. If you raise the class capacity, click Trigger automations yourself. The check for free space happens before any email or SMS is sent. The queue buttons are Add, Restore, Message all, Download to Excel, Reorder, Trigger automations, and Only show participants still waiting. A row's ⋯ menu is only Message and Remove. View details is read-only except Remove and archive this request. The removal reasons are Duplicate, Already registered, No longer needed, and Course ended. How do I correct a waitlist entry? You cannot edit the person, the class, or the note on an existing entry. Remove the row, or use Remove and archive this request on the details, then Add the correct person. Reorder changes who is first in that class queue. Message or Message all contacts the people already on the list. On the main Waitlist table, Review identity is for unidentified participants. It does not edit the request. The questions customers fill in are still edited with Form settings. That changes the form, not one saved entry. Adding someone is covered in Manually add someone to a class waitlist.
